This song's gotta be one of my most listened songs lately. This is very melancholic and it touches the heart. But some people are quite confused about the song's meaning. Well, I have some theories about the background of this song.


First, I think the story is about Samson and Delilah. True that the bible mentioned the both of them. But i think the meaning of "and the bible didn't mention us" is about "us", meaning the love they have for each other even if Delilah was planning treachery over Samson. And the line "I loved you first" means that Delilah loved Samson first even before Samson did. And yeah, Delilah cut Samson's hair "Oh i cut his hair myself one night"

and Second, maybe the song's about Samson's first love and not about Delilah. cause the history forgot about "them" and yes, the bible didn't mention about Samson's girls. and so, the girl is claiming that she loved Samson first.

hahaha. Okay, I know that sounds weird, but whatever. Just listen to the song and I assure you, you're gonna love it.
